Food- Treats- Water
Rabbits have many different brands for food, you may need to shop around and experiment with different food brands because your rabbit may or may not like a certain brand of food or may have allergy too. But most do prefer pellets with grains and oats in them, never give them milk, or any other food that is not made for rabbits. The water should be changed everyday because the water starts to get food that the rabbit has dropped in it and makes the water really cloudy and nasty. As for treats you can either feed them vegetables such as broccoli leaves, carrot tops, celery.
Attention
Rabbits are social animals they need a lot of attention just as most animals do, but they do not like being picked up often because they feel like their falling, they don't like being cuddled they don't like being held down.
Cleaning/ grooming
Rabbits need a lot of grooming because they shed a lot, they need to be brushed at least twice a week so that the hay or litter is in their fur it cases matting which could cause health problems in the future for your pet. As for cleaning rabbits you may want to clean it at least once a week or even more depending on the size of your cage, the litter should be changed at least 3 times a week again so your animals fur doesn't mat up.
Shelter
Rabbits will need a hut to sleep in so they feel protected, but if your animal is inside you'll need a lot of bedding for your cage, but if its a outside shelter then you'll need to put hay down in the cage for comfort but rabbits can handle a little cold but when its really hot outside you should keep your animal inside because it could be dangerous for them. Rabbits need a lot of space to run around so if they are outside make a large section of your yard for your bunny, it also needs to be escape and predator proof so your bunny can be safe while it runs around. If you chose to keep your rabbit indoor make sure one room is bunny proof so your rabbit can run around safely, take out all wire and plants so they don't eat anything harmful.
Companion
Rabbits do love human contact but it doesn't replace the companionship they will get when there's another rabbit so it is ideal to have another rabbit so they can feel more comfortable, they also understand each others body language and help comfort each other if they get stressed out or feel uncomfortable, without another rabbit, rabbits tend to get depressed and upset so it is better to have another rabbit.
